Board Games at the Beach: Code of Conduct

Board Games at the Beach is a welcoming event for everyone. By attending, you agree to this code of conduct.

Expected behavior

  • Be considerate, welcoming, respectful, and kind.
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
  • Comply with instructions of any session moderators or BGatB staff.
  • Keep the vibe and language at a PG-12+ rating.
  • Comply with all applicable laws.
  • Have fun!

Unacceptable behavior

  • Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct toward any attendee.
  • Harassment of any kind, including offensive comments related to race, gender, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or any other protected category; inappropriate use of nudity or sexual images.
  • Clothing not suitable for a professional environment, or that is provocative or otherwise potentially offensive.
  • Written, verbal, or other abuse, intimidation, threats, annoyance, harassment, stalking, or spamming.
  • Boisterous, lewd, or offensive behavior or language, including sexually explicit or offensive language, profanity, obscene gestures, or slurs.
  • Sustained or repeated disruption of events or interruption of other gamers.
  • Disturbing the peace or committing any unlawful act.
  • Failure to obey any rules or regulations of the event or its vendors.
  • Any other behavior the BGatB staff deems inappropriate.
